What it does: pauses the run, then continues with the next step.
Settings:
- Delay mode: Delay by duration (enter a number and choose Minutes, Hours or Days) or Delay until specific date & time (Execute at, in your browser’s local time). A date in the past continues immediately.
Use it for: "send a follow-up 2 days later", "wait an hour before reminding".
Pitfalls:
- Plain-text WhatsApp messages only reach the contact within 24 hours of their last message (11.16). A plain-text reply placed after a long delay will usually fail. After delays, use a WhatsApp template.
- Very short delays (under a few minutes) bring no benefit and make runs harder to follow.
- A Delay with nothing connected after it does nothing: the run simply ends there.
