11.3 Create a Workflow

  1. In the sidebar, click Automation Workflows, then New Workflow.
  2. In Definition, fill in:
    • Name (required) and Description (optional).
    • Trigger Type: what starts the workflow (11.7, 11.8). Some triggers show extra options or a hint below the field.
    • Trigger Details (optional): your own notes.
  3. For the Scheduled trigger, fill in Scheduled Trigger Settings (11.9).
  4. In Advanced Settings:
    • Stop after consecutive failures: how many failed runs in a row stop the workflow automatically. The default is 3. It can be changed with the Automation Advanced feature.
    • Publish this version now: on = the workflow becomes Active and starts running when you save. Off = it is saved as a draft and nothing runs.
  5. In Steps, build the flow on the canvas (11.4): drag activities from the palette, connect them, and configure each one.
  6. Click Save Workflow (bottom right). If something is missing, the error list names the step and the problem.

Tip: start from Sample Workflows (11.34), or let the AI build a first draft (11.27).
