On the overview. The LinkedIn overview has the same Statistics report as Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest (see 12.5 Instagram Insights):
- Open LinkedIn → Overview and choose 7 days, 30 days or 90 days next to Statistics.
- Read What this means, the headline numbers (followers of your Company Pages, impressions, reach, engagement rate, clicks and reposts), How many people saw your posts, Where the engagement came from (reactions, comments, reposts and clicks), Best times to post, What kind of content works (text, image, video, document, article and poll posts), Your best content, and Every post, side by side with Download as Excel.
Engagement rate is reactions, comments, reposts and clicks added together, as a share of impressions.
By Page. For one Company Page at a time, or a longer period, click Insights by Page and format under the report, or open LinkedIn → Insights. Choose a Page and a period (up to 12 months). You see impressions, engagement rate, reactions, comments, reposts and clicks, which formats perform best, and your top posts.
Numbers update every few hours for Company Page posts; open a post and click Refresh numbers to update one now. LinkedIn does not share statistics for personal-profile posts with apps, so they are left out of the report rather than counted as zero. Poll results update the same way.
Who sees the statistics. If your plan doesn’t include LinkedIn analytics, the Statistics section shows a lock, and posts show no numbers on their cards or detail pages. Company administrators get a See plans button. A TenantUser also needs "View LinkedIn analytics".
LinkedIn Company Pages can also be added to Advanced Analysis. LinkedIn does not allow reading other companies’ posts, so the analysis compares your own formats, topics and timing rather than competitors.
