9. WhatsApp

At a Glance #

The WhatsApp module has nine sub-areas:

  1. Phone Numbers — manage which WhatsApp numbers are connected, plus their quality/health status.
  2. Chat — real-time messaging with contacts.
  3. Message Templates — pre-approved templates required for outbound messaging, with AI-assisted content generation.
  4. Campaigns — bulk broadcast messages to lists of contacts. Open them from WhatsApp → Campaigns in the sidebar (9.4).
  5. Business Profile — the about/description/address/picture/display-name your customers see on WhatsApp, opened per-number from a row button on Phone Numbers rather than its own sidebar item (9.5).
  6. Usage & Costs — estimated monthly message volume and cost by template category (9.6).
  7. Catalogs — browse and edit the Meta product catalogs connected to your WhatsApp Business Accounts, and share products in chat (9.7).
  8. Forms — build multi-page forms customers fill in inside WhatsApp, with reusable data lists, seat reservations, a response inbox and statistics (9.8).
  9. Connect your current number — keep using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone while Peikly adds campaigns, a team inbox and automation (9.9).

Prerequisite for all WhatsApp features: A connected Meta Platform (see Section 8).
