# 20.5 My Earnings and Commission Waiting Period

1. Open **My Earnings**.
2. Review commission events generated from your referred clients' new subscriptions and upgrades.

**How commission works:**

- A referred client's first paid subscription generates a commission event at the full plan price.
- A plan upgrade generates a commission event only on the price increase, not the full new price.
- Every new commission event starts in a waiting period (typically around 60 days, set by the platform) before it becomes payable — this protects against chargebacks and cancellations.
- If no commission rate has been set for you yet, referred subscriptions will not generate commission events until a rate is configured by the platform administrator.
