# 2.3 Create Account with Email

## What This Feature Does

Creates a new organization (tenant) and its first CompanyAdmin user account.

## When to Use

- Use when your organization is new to Application.
- Do not use to add more team members to an existing organization — use **User Management** for that.

## Prerequisites

- A unique email address not already registered.
- A valid company name.
- A strong password (8–100 characters).

## Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the **Create Account** page.
2. In the **Organization** section:
   - Enter your **Organization Name** (required, max 500 characters).
   - Enter your **Company Phone** (optional).
   - Enter your **Company Website** (optional, must be a valid URL).
3. In the **Administrator** section:
   - Enter your **First Name** (required, max 100 characters).
   - Enter your **Last Name** (required, max 100 characters).
   - Enter your **Job Title** (optional).
   - Enter your **Phone Number** (optional).
4. In the **Login Credentials** section:
   - Enter your **Email Address** (required, valid email, max 256 characters).
   - Enter your **Password** (required, 8–100 characters).
   - Enter **Confirm Password**.
   - Tick **I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy** (required).
5. Click **Create Account**.

## What Happens After

- A new Company (tenant) record is created.
- A CompanyAdmin user is created with your email.
- A UserProfile is created with your name and contact details.
- If a free subscription plan exists, it is assigned automatically. Otherwise, the subscription starts as `Inactive`.
- A verification email is sent to your address. Click the **Confirm Email** link in that email.
- After confirmation, you are redirected to the Sign In page.

## Errors, Messages, and Exceptions

| `Organization name cannot exceed 500 characters.` | Name too long | Shorten the name | On submit |

## Fix Common Problems

**Problem: No verification email received**

1. Check your spam/junk folder.
2. Wait 5–10 minutes — email delivery can be delayed.
3. If still missing, contact support to have the verification link resent.

**Problem: "Registration failed"**

- This is a server-side error. Wait 30 seconds and try again.
- If it persists, try a different browser or clear cookies.
