# 8. Meta Platform Connection

## What This Feature Does

The Meta Platform connection links your Application tenant to your Meta (Facebook) Business Account. This is required before you can use WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook features.

## When to Use

- Use before setting up WhatsApp phone numbers.
- Use before accessing Instagram or Facebook management features.
- Do not use this if you only need Email features — Meta is not required for email.

## Prerequisites

- CompanyAdmin role.
- Pro plan or higher.
- A Meta (Facebook) Business Account with the phone numbers or pages you want to connect.
- Admin access to the Meta Business Account.

## Permission & Access Control

- Only the company owner, or a CompanyAdmin the owner has allowed ([6.7](/docs/the-company-owner/)), can connect, reconnect or disconnect the Meta Platform, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Every other administrator can still see the status.
- TenantUser users cannot access Meta Platform settings.
