# 8.5 Disconnect from Meta

> **Only the company owner, or an administrator the owner allowed, can disconnect Meta.** The owner is told by email when it happens.

> **Warning:** Disconnecting stops all WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook activity. WhatsApp campaigns are switched off and pending broadcasts are cancelled; you have to switch them back on after reconnecting.

1. On the **Meta Platform Status** page, click **Disconnect Meta Account**.
2. Confirm in the confirmation popup.
3. Application:
   - Removes itself from your WhatsApp Business Accounts and Facebook Pages, and revokes its Meta permissions (best-effort).
   - Clears access tokens.
   - Hides your WhatsApp phone numbers and templates. They are **not deleted**: if you reconnect and grant access to the same WhatsApp Business Account, they come back as they were.
   - Archives WhatsApp campaigns that use those numbers (their statistics are kept) and cancels pending broadcasts.
